The images he created wthin are absolutely timeless. This book is a collection of his journals about his experiences in his travels. It's one of my all-time favorite books. The film is based on the journals of Eldon, to be played by Radcliffe, who will be cutting his acting chops on his first big screen action thriller. In some way or another I think everyone wants to change the world. Dan Dan Eldon's incredible life and vision produced multiple books all revolving around the thought that the journey is the destination. 1930 Oscar-winning First World War classic All Quiet On The Western Front in which he plays a young German soldier sent to the trenches with his friends and The Journey Is The Destination, a biopic about English photojournalist Dan Eldon who, with three colleagues, was slain by an angry mob in Mogadishu in July 1993. Four years later, Chronicle published The Journey is the Destination: The Journals of Dan Eldon, which told the story of his brief life through his heavily illustrated journals. Whether it is on a big or small scale, He is survived by his mother and sister, who not long after his death discovered a number of journals Dan had created documenting his experiences whilst living in Africa. The first book, "The Journey is the Destination: The Journals of Dan Eldon", was released in 1997--four years after Eldon's death.
